I was born and raised in Southern CA. Following high school, I attended college in San Luis Obispo, CA and then continued my move north to Alameda CA. For the next 14 years, I worked in the corporate world. During that time, I took advantage of the opportunities to move to CT, GA, and then WA as well as obtain my MBA from NYU. These were great years for me as I was able to experience different parts of the country by immersing myself in the different areas.
In 2006, my job took me away from home more than I wanted, especially since I was newly married and wanted to start a family. That’s when I decided to pursue real estate as a career. By the end of the same year, my husband, Ken, who had been an Executive Chef for 20+ years, left his job and obtained his real estate license so that we could work together. Currently I am the Managing Broker for our team of 10 in Southwest Washington and Ken is the Principal Broker in Portland, Oregon.
On a personal note, Ken and I were blessed with being able to adopt our daughter in January 2007. The story of her adoption is a great one, although too long to include in this introduction. My hobbies include traveling, reading, knitting, and running. As of this writing, I just recently finished my second half marathon.
